What support do you feel you need?
I want to learn the skills to recover as quickly as possible!
OCD lends itself to intensive treatment. We offer a range of different intensive programs to suit everyones needs and circumstances.
I just want some weekly support
If you feel that regular therapy is more suited to you, then you may wish to have weekly sessions over the phone, via skype or in person. We have a wide array of options.
Here at the OCD Treatment Centre we understand how difficult life can be living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Although the processes behind OCD are always the same, the context and themes of the persons OCD can often appear very complex. At times, when experiencing OCD symptoms, it can feel like you are afraid of almost everything, continually picking up new fears and worries, and generally just start to feel more and more out of control. This is why we set up the centre. We remember this feeling only too well. It can be scary, overwhelming and at times make life feel hopeless, but we are here to not only spread the message that you can recover and go on to live a healthy and enjoyable life, but also to show you how!
Our intensive program, which has been adapted to provide a unique option in the form of OCD retreats via the group option, has been created by fully qualified professionals that have also had first had experience of the condition from a sufferers perspective. This is why we are confident that from the very first communication you have with our centre, you will feel understood, empathised with and maybe even a little more hopeful, just from that very first chat.
We have been there, and when you are in the grips of OCD, it is not a nice place to be. However we have now recovered, from what can become an extremely debilitating condition. If we can do it, so can you. Our friendly and professional team can show you how.
Every member of our team have first hand experience of OCD, from our receptionist to our clinical leads
One of the things that we pride ourselves on here at The OCD Treatment Centre is that all of our therapists have first hand experience of OCD. All of our therapists have had their own, very personal journeys with what can be an extremely debilitation condition. Whilst learning to manage and recover from the constraints of the condition, all members of our team have then dedicated their lives to helping others also break free from the many symptoms that can lead sufferers feeling hopeless. Whether it be one of our therapists, mindfulness teachers or marketing team, we all know what it is like to be in the grips of OCD. If we can break free, so can you.
Empathy, understanding and compassion
We understand what it’s like to live a life in the constraints of the condition. OCD has many facets, and can often arise in different ways depending on the individual. Every OCD sufferer is caught up in a cycle of fighting loud, unwanted intrusive thoughts, experiencing intense urges to perform compulsions or avoiding feelings of anxiety and fear. At times, life can feel hopeless, and we have all been through that feeling ourselves. No matter how long you’ve been suffering, or how complex your life may feel, we are here to show you that there is hope, even if it doesn’t feel like it. We pride ourselves on our friendly and approachable nature. We have been working with OCD for a long time, nothing surprises us, and we offer a non-judgmental, person centred approach to each and every client.
Suffering from OCD can often be a frustrating and futile experience. That feeling that no matter what you do, every day you wake up with the same intrusive thoughts, feelings and urges can really lead to deep feelings of complete despair and hopelessness. However, you need not suffer alone. We have helped countless numbers of OCD sufferers to regain control of their life once again. Whether you want to be like ‘the old you’, or can’t remember a life free from the condition, we assure you that OCD is extremely manageable. We are confident that if you follow the program, listen to what we say, trust us and commit to the therapy, you will notice great improvements in the management of your OCD symptoms. Ask yourself this, do you currently live your life to be happy, or to be safe? The life that you want lies on the other side of fear. Read some of our success stories here!
Places we have worked to date…….
Since founded, the OCD Treatment Centre has worked with people all over the world, helping sufferers to regain control of their lives. OCD is an international problem, with a driving factor being the lack of understanding that surrounds the condition. As well as working with clients on a global scale, we are dedicated to raising accurate, positive awareness of the condition internationally as well as domestically.
